Staff standards

K-9 has defined high standards to be met by all employed personnel. Directors and specialist personnel are required to have either a university degree in their field or to have been honorably discharged or retired from the Army, Police or Security services.

Guards and field operators must meet the following minimum requirements:

Physically and mentally in full health. Before being entrusted with any duties they receive extensive medical check-ups, repeated every year.
Police must certify potential employees have no criminal records. The company closely vets all applicants to ensure there is no background of illegal or anti-social activity.
Applicants must have graduated from secondary school degree and have a reasonable command of English.
They must have fully completed any required military service and not have been released from reserve service for any physical or mental health problems.
Employees must possess written confirmation that they have received training from the company and the police force on subjects relevant to the security of people and premises, counter-terrorist skills, traffic control, first aid, fire protection etc.
The company applies strict disciplinary rules. Guards are under constant administrative supervision and are immediately replaced if they fail in their assigned duties.
